Low Maintenance

A low maintenance yard  will most
likely show its signs; the existence
of weeds, bare thin patches from
time to time, and discoloration in
spots. A certain degree of
maintenance will need to take
place to keep the lawn from going
down hill however.
Mow on a regular basis, water
every week or two, particularly in
times of drought. Some lawns
may even require deep watering.
Lastly , fertilize at least twice a
year. Some form of herbicide
treatment is also recommended
to control weeds.
Moderate Maintenance

A moderately maintained lawn will
for the most part be free of visible
weeds and signs of disease but may
not be dark green all season. It is
recommended to mow once a week
during peak season. Depending on the
rain fall , a moderate lawn should be
watered twice a month. To prevent
weeds a preemergent  is recommended
in early spring and then some form of
herbicide  to prevent weeds during the
summer. A moderate lawn can be
aerated every other year.
High Maintenance

Consistent care is essential to
maintaining a stunning lawn.
It is important to mow frequently
during the peak season and
maintain your lawn during the
non-growing season.

A high maintenance lawn should
have 1 to 2 inches of water a week
through out the peak season. 4
feedings a year is recommended.
Aerate yearly. Proper pest control
year round is also a must.
